Dakshin Gurgaon Puja Committee, Gurgaon (DGPC)
Durga Puja festival epitomizes the victory of Good over Evil. It is being celebrated all over the world, be it the US, Britain, Africa or for that matter in Indian and our neighbour Bangladesh, since medieval era. People interested in history should go through the considerable literature that exists around Durga Ma in the Bengali language and its early forms, including avnirnaya (11th century ). we, members of the Dakshin Gurgaon Puja Committee (DGPC ), are celebrating our thirteenth Durga Puja this year in South City II, Sohna Road, opposite F Block market in Gurgaon, Haryana.
DGPC is now a brand name. It has grown into a big, inspiring and lively tree with branches spread all over South Gurgaon. It is known for releasing fresh oxygen for us to breathe and offer special support to Gen Next. Our puja not only helps us to survive from the din and bustle of city life but also help us to lead a healthy, energetic and meaningful life.
Goddess Durga is our divine mother. She is believed to have created our universe and is our savior from all sorrows and dangers. She is also our inner strength and bestows upon us wealth, auspiciousness, prosperity, knowledge and all possible positive powers.
